Subsidiary Diploma Storytelling Printmaking Project

First year subsidiary diploma students develop their printmaking story telling project. Illustrations are created for their animal poem around printmaking practices such as dry point, collograph, lino and monoprinting. These pieces are soon to be taken into a digital format and books will be developed around students' final pieces....more images to follow!

Experimental Drawing Workshop

Last night a selection of our art and design students worked alongside a group of students that are currently visiting the college as part of six-week exchange programme between BMetC and SUPS college in Prague. Together the students worked on large-scale life drawings on all surfaces but the celling. Amazing how some of the drawings are stretching across the different surface of wall and floor and simultaneously break down conventional perceptions of where the wall ends and the floor begins, beautiful!










Many thanks to all students that took part in the experimental drawing workshop and all staff who helped out to make the event so successful. A particular thanks goes out to the group of exchange students from Prague.
